A investigação ao "Apito Dourado" já está encerrada, mas pode dar origem a outros processos. Os novos dados dizem respeito a alegadas cumplicidades políticas e ligações às autarquias e a obras do Metro do Porto. O inquérito ao primeiro processo durou mais de dois anos e já está no Tribunal de Gondomar. Há 200 arguidos. Cabe agora ao procurador do Ministério Público deduzir a acusação.
